Book Cover Design - Charles Dickens Study

During my final college design class, we were assigned four book titles from the same author and were asked to design a series of covers that Penguin Publishing could use in its Penguin Classics Collection. The images on the first three books show a famous London landmark that is either mentioned in the book or existed at the time the story takes place. For the last book, A Christmas Carol, I chose to depict time rather than place because of the famous storyline. Scrooge's ghost-guided journey through time is symbolized by a snow-covered clock without numbers. It simply reads, "Past, Present, Future."
